"My work is 100% digitally created using the program PAINTER. Reproduction files are typically 300 dpi RGB TIFFs, although layered files may be provided as Photoshop layered files (PSD).

Generally speaking, my process is to read a synopsis of the content to be illustrated and provide anywhere from two to five or more conceptual sketches per illustration. My hope is to make selecting a concept as enjoyable as possible for the client. Concepts are provided as low-res JPEGs and are emailed to all project participants.

Once a concept is approved, a low-res JPEG of the color illustration(s) is emailed for review and approval. Once approved,  I post the files online for instant download using Dropbox." – Dave Cutler
