His illustration originally created for the 1996 NYC Marathon poster, featuring the two World Trade Center towers, is now part of the permanent collection at the Sept 11th Memorial Museum in New York City.
Another of Dave's illustrations about 9/11 was one of only 50 paintings selected from worldwide submissions to displayed at the United Nations to commemorate the 10th anniversary of that terrible day. (Dave’s work has also appeared on several UNICEF cards over the years.)
His one and only children's book (so far), When I Wished I Was Alone was named a Best of Read to Me Picture Book by Borders and was featured by Barnes & Noble the year it was published.
